Binder guides
Let’s face it, you’re probably the main person in your household that cares about being prepared. You shouldn’t have to do this alone so we created two friendly guides to help you in your journey. The first guide is a video walkthrough of the Everything Binder to help you get familiar with how the system is organized. The second is a written guide that offers a short introduction into preparing for emergencies along with some helpful tips and best practices.
How it works
Once your purchase is complete, make sure to download and save the files we provide to a secure location that you will always have access to.
Open the PDF and start with the Family Profiles section. Related fields will auto-fill as you add information. Only fill out the pages you want and delete the rest.
Once you’ve filled everything out, save your Everything Binder to a digital device or print and add it to a physical binder or file system.
We’ve heard stories from so many different types of people and the one thing they all have in common is that they don’t regret investing in their family’s safety and future.
If anything were to happen to me, my wife would have no idea where any of our investment account info is or what bills are due. This is a great idea so I can keep everything in one place that’s easy for her to reference if she needs it.”
“I just tried to make something like this on my own and it took forever and don’t even have a quarter of the stuff that you guys have in this.”
“I didn’t think I would even care about something like this. But now that we have kids, I want to make sure that I have stuff more together in one place. This is great for emergencies and the legacy planning part really got us thinking about how important it will be to plan for the kids if anything happens to us.”
“My dad and I are both happy that I don’t have to keep calling him to ask about my insurance, social, birth certificate and other stuff like that.”
How to store the Everything Binder
“I saved my binder to a portable USB so I can easy take it anywhere.”
The Everything Binder is optimized for digital use and is easy to fill out and store on your laptop or computer. It’s also easy to add to an E-Reader, Tablet, or Phone so that you can have quick access whenever your need it.
We also recommend storing a backup of your binder on a USB or external hard drive. This will make it easy to transport and edit from different devices or store in a Faraday cage.
“I feel better having a printed version that I put in a binder. It’s the one thing I’ll grab if I need to leave the house fast.”
A printed version of the Everything Binder is ideal for those who like having physical copies that can be easily handled and reviewed without digital devices. This format ensures your crucial information is readily available at all times, even if there’s a power outage or tech issues. You can organize the binder with tabs and sections for quick access to specific documents whenever you need them.
“I already have an established file system so I printed the PDF and added it to my files along with my document copies.”

Everything is immediately downloadable after purchasing. That’s all you need for a “digital” binder. If you choose a physical form factor, your next step will be to print it out and follow our guide for binder and file purchases.
Since you keep the fillable digital PDFs, you can edit them when things change. If you have a physical binder, you can print out the changed page(s) or reprint the entire PDF.
It depends on how thorough you are, how large your family is, and how many assets and accounts you have. We make it as fast as possible to fill out so you can get back to life ASAP.
We’ve looked at every single Emergency Binder out there and added sections they didn’t include, removed others that weren’t relevant, improved the flow of the information and general design, and made this forward-compatible with other products we’ll be releasing in the future. We made the binder we wished existed for us to purchase.
